Met Gala 2023

The Met Gala is one of fashion's biggest nights of the year. Every year celebrities flock to the infamous steps to showcase their take on the theme. This years theme, "Karl Lagerfeld: A line if beauty", was chosen in honour of the late fashion designer who was a regular attendee of the event.

The possibilities for this years theme were endless. Lagerfeld designed for a number of different fashion houses providing a rich back catalogue of inspiration for guests in terms of materials, eras, and aesthetics. One approach could be for guests to wear an archival look of Lagerfeld's, another choice could be to wear modern day looks from one of the brands he worked at, or the most obvious choice perhaps, would be for guests to dress a la Lagerfeld.

The Met Gala takes place on the first Monday of May and this years co-chairs include, Michaela Coel, Penelope Cruz, Roger Federer, and Dua Lipa.
